Plant Care Tips:
Light: This Ficus prefers bright, indirect light. Think dappled sunlight filtering through a tree canopy in its native Southeast Asian habitat. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the leaves. It can tolerate lower light conditions, but the variegation may become less pronounced.
Watering: Water your Ficus Elastica 'Belize' when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Overwatering is a common killer, so err on the side of underwatering. Allow excess water to drain freely from the pot to prevent root rot.
Temperature: This tropical plant thrives in warm temperatures between 60-75°F (16-24°C). Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations.
